Getting There
Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) has direct flights from Bangkok (1h15min), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and other regional hubs. Budget carriers AirAsia and Nok Air run frequent cheap flights.
Getting Around
Songthaew (red shared trucks) are the main transport — flat rate 30-50 THB. Grab app works well. Rent a scooter for $6/day or bicycle for $3/day in the city.
