Nearest airports: Osaka Kansai (KIX, 75 min by Haruka Express) or Osaka Itami (ITM, 55 min by bus). From Tokyo: 2h15min by Shinkansen Nozomi.

Getting Around

City buses cover major sights. Day pass ¥700 recommended. Bicycle rental ~¥1,000/day is perfect for the flat city center. JR Pass valid on some lines.
